The course aims to provide practical and theoretical knowledge about the impact of a potentially traumatic event on a person, explain which tools are the least harmful, and create a trauma-informed media community. "Trauma Journalism" is about the neuroscience, manifestations and long-term consequences of trauma, journalism that does non-harm, storytelling and understanding of trauma, and self-care.
